The treatment plan for short-term rehab patients also includes homemaking and re-entry programs. In fact, our rehabilitation gym contains a portion dedicated to a kitchen area where patients practice their food prep and cooking skills. Here, OTs supervise patients' home management skills to assure safety upon returning home. Prior to discharge, a comprehensive home assessment is completed.
