Congrats to New CNA Graduates
In the past two years, two classes graduated from the Senior C.N.A. program. The program is a 12-week course offered to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) who go above and beyond their daily job duties. The aides demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and compassion. There are currently 18 senior aides employed at the facility.
Mary Ann Morse Awarded Grant
This past spring, Mary Ann Morse was awarded the Resident Empowerment Grant from the Department of Public Health. The grant will help support a new buffet-style dining program, which will replace the traditional tray service for meals, allowing greater control over meal choices and portions. We've ordered the equipment, and we expect the program to be up and running by the end of 2008.
Mary Ann Morse Goes Wireless
We are officially wireless! We've installed wireless Internet access throughout the building.
