A full-time activities director oversees daily recreational programs, including exercise classes, card and board games, book clubs, discussion groups, live entertainment, poetry readings, pet visits, and a wide range of religious services. A Resident Council meets monthly and serves as a forum for residents to voice any concerns or ideas concerning their daily care and living. View our current activities calendar here.

My mother has her own doctor. Can she keep him, even if she becomes a resident at Mary Ann Morse?
Yes. Residents at Mary Ann Morse may maintain their own private physician, provided the physician is affiliated with Mary Ann Morse. If your physician is not currently affiliated with Mary Ann Morse, please have him or her contact our health information coordinator-the affiliation process is quite simple. As an alternative, residents can choose to be under the care of one of the facility's medical directors. Physicians are required, at a minimum, to visit patients every 30 days for the first three months and every 60 days thereafter. They are available by telephone 24 hours a day. The resident's care plan is formulated with input from the health care team and the resident, and it is updated as needed.
